Spanish for Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers proposes a different methodology compared to the rest of the English manuals available on the market. Our writers and international airline pilots share all their real-life flying experiences gathered throughout their careers, where they have interacted with the English and Spanish languages worldwide, both in normal and abnormal situations.
After that, we will proceed with the development in a logical sequence. First, we will learn the essential technical vocabulary for aeronautical operations, followed by the ICAO recommended phraseology models. Once we have acquired new terms, it will be time to explore the various situations that may arise during daily operations, where the pilot must be able to handle them in Spanish and English using all the necessary technical language to communicate effectively with the environment. At the end of this phase, we will move on to flight operations and learn everything related to a normal flight, including phraseology, PILOT – ATC – PILOT communications, passenger announcements, and other communications involved in day-to-day operations. Upon reaching the destination, the flight will return, and we will study all abnormal situations for each phase of the flight, mastering the communication techniques for each scenario. Finally, we will test our knowledge with a final exam.
