Kogge was the recipient of the National Hispanic Media Coalition's Television Writer's Fellowship and was also a distinguished Fulbright Scholar. He is known for his work on Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Incredibuilds: Star Wars: Millenium Falcon Deluxe Book and Model Set, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens Junior Novel.

Alexander Freed is the author of Star Wars: The Old Republic: The Lost Suns, as well as many short stories, comic books, and videogames. Born near Philadelphia, he endeavours to bring the city's dour charm with him to his current home of Austin, Texas.

Jennifer Heddle is a lifelong Star Wars fan who is now executive editor at LucasBooks overseeing their fiction program.

Sylvain Neuvel was born in Quebec and dropped out of school when he was fifteen. Since then he has sold ice cream in California, peddled furniture across Canada, and taught Linguistics in India.

He has also worked as a software engineer, journalist, certified translator and received a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Chicago.

He is an amateur robotics enthusiast and life-long fan of all things science fiction. Sleeping Giants, his debut novel and first in the Themis Files series, was published in 2016. Waking Gods is his second novel.
