Every Christmas, in the heart of a little town, there stood a magnificent red postbox. They called it The Jingle-Jangle Postbox, because every letter slipped inside was answered with a joyful ring, a magical sound that promised wishes heard.

But this year, the Jingle-Jangle Postbox was silent.

Eight-year-old Leo, new to town and feeling quite lonely, pressed his ear against the cold metal, hoping for a jingle to answer his quiet wish for a friend. All he heard was silence.

That is, until he discovered a dusty old toy shop and its reclusive owner, Mr. Hemlock - the very toymaker who built the magical postbox long ago. Mr. Hemlock, too, seemed to have lost his own "jingle".
