Motorcycles whisper freedom**.** Adventure**.**

You climb on, full of expectations—only to grind it out mile after mile. Then suddenly, Joy kicks your soul in the ass. Something takes over: part genius, part insanity, part magic.

From the author of Scraping Pegs comes a wildly honest, darkly funny, and oddly heartwarming ride through healing—and the unpredictable liberation found on two wheels.

On the Road to Joy, you'll meet: a philosophical Guzzi rider, a scooter evangelist, the Ass Problem, a therapy bike, the truth about motorcycles, a doomsday scare—and yes, battered pickles.

Part satire, part soulful road manual, The Joy of Motorcycles explores what happens when machines become mirrors and asphalt becomes a path to something more.

Whether you're an experienced rider or dreaming of your first road trip, this book delivers: scars, laughter, hope, hard truths, and the surprising science of two-wheeled healing.

Chase joy. Scrape your pegs. Begin your inquiry into Joy.

Gone down hard? Don't be a weenie—climb back on.
