I was given a free ARC in exchange for an honest review! The Quelling is incredibly captivating, with vivid descriptions and rich character development. The book in fact sucks you in, making it impossible to resist the urge to keep reading. Once I pick it up, it becomes a challenge to put it down, as I am completely engrossed in the story.

Lauder's writing has a magnetic quality that holds my attention from start to finish. It is a true page-turner that keeps me hooked until the very end.

Waiting for the next surprise from Lauder!

I was fortunate enough to be offered an ARC to review in exchange for an honest review, and honestly, this book is brilliant.

The author creates a mystical world where ghoragulls soar above, yakkat roll over for scritches, and deserts are prowled by hungry spear-wielding ravvids.

Wielding a brilliant new vocabulary that challenges the unique worlds created by the likes of Tolkien, Rowling and Herbert, the author keeps us enthralled with a whirlwind of adventures and throws in an extra dash of simmering love as the cherry on top.

"Every wrong must be set right" is a saying that gives young Kyjta strength but can also lead her astray.

In this brilliantly unique world, amidst different people, monsters and species from a wide range of backgrounds, the young characters have to fight to do what is right, in a war rooted deeply in fear.

I am just devastated to have to step out of this fantasy world until the next books are out. In all honesty, I cannot recommend this book highly enough!
