It is the beginning of World War II, and the gods in heaven are not happy. Two mortals have been chosen to change the outcome of the war. The gods have come down from heaven, and their spirits have entered the bodies of the earthlings that will guide the young man and woman in their journey to change the world.

The two fall in love and are tied together by fate and the destiny of the gods. Little do they know that they are being guided, and it is only the red string that will bring them together in the end.
