The Return of Her Past is the 71st romance novel by Australian author, Lindsay Armstrong. Mia Gardiner runs a successful event venue at a charming old Blue Mountains homestead with spectacular views. But a certain booking for the OConnor family has her unnerved. She has a history with the brother of the bride, Carlos, from back when she was their housekeepers daughter, but maybe he wont recognise her? Carlos is immediately drawn to the now poised and sophisticated Mia, and is determined to overcome her reluctance. This is a novel where the heroine stands on her principles and the hero tries to second guess what will bring her willingly into his arms, somehow getting it wrong several times. Rather too much angst, a bit frustrating and not Armstrongs best romance.
