In terms of volume and tone, a violin is incomparable with other stringed instruments, such as a guitar, ukulele, erhu. The performance skills and repertoire developed are hence rich. After a brief review of the history about violin making we discuss the physics of it.
This book contains my adventure into the science and art of violins. More science than art. It is translated from originally Chinese writing. The writing starts from the covid-19 period whereas my interests in violin making started from high school days.
