The Secret Zoo Under My Bed

Every night, when the lights went out, something magical happened under my bed.

It wasn’t just a dusty, dark space—it was a secret zoo!

Tiny animals, big animals, and even some I had never seen before, would come out to play.

There were colorful birds, playful monkeys, and a shy little tiger with stripes that glowed in the dark.

One night, I decided to peek under the bed…

I slowly lifted the blanket and peeked under the bed.

At first, I saw twinkling eyes and soft paws tiptoeing across the floor.

“Welcome to our secret zoo!” whispered a tiny voice.

It was Lila, the little monkey, swinging from a shoelace.

“Do you want to see the whole zoo?” she asked with a smile.

I nodded, my heart beating fast with excitement.

Lila grabbed my hand, and suddenly, the space under my bed felt huge!

There were trees made of pillows, rivers of sparkling blue light, and animals of all shapes and sizes.

There was Max, the glowing tiger, who purred softly,

and Bella, the colorful parrot, who sang beautiful songs.

“This is our home,” Lila said. “And now, it’s your secret too!”

I stepped carefully into the secret zoo, amazed by everything around me.

The animals were all busy playing and having fun.

Suddenly, a soft rumble shook the ground.

“Oh no!” said Lila. “That’s the Sleepy Giant coming!”

The Sleepy Giant was a big, gentle creature who loved to nap.

When he rolled over, the whole zoo would shake!

Max the tiger jumped up and down, trying to wake the giant.

“Come on, Mr. Giant, wake up! It’s time to play!”

But the giant just yawned and stretched his huge arms.

“I’m so sleepy,” he said with a smile.

Lila whispered to me, “We need to help him stay awake. Can you think of a fun game to play?”

I thought for a moment and said, “How about a tickle chase?”

Lila clapped her hands. “Yes! The Sleepy Giant loves to laugh!”

Max and Bella started running around, tickling the giant’s big toes and ears.

The giant giggled and wiggled, trying to catch them all.

“Tickle, tickle!” he laughed, his big belly shaking like a bowl full of jelly.

Slowly, the Sleepy Giant woke up and smiled wide.

“Thanks for the game! Now I’m ready to play with you all!”

The zoo buzzed with excitement as everyone joined in the fun.

As the night grew late, I knew it was time to go back to my room.

“I had the best adventure ever,” I told Lila and all my new friends.

They smiled and waved goodbye.

“Remember,” said Max the tiger, “the secret zoo is always here, whenever you want to play.”

I crawled back under my blanket and closed my eyes.

And as I drifted off to sleep, I dreamed of the secret zoo under my bed —

a magical place full of friends and fun, just waiting for me.
