Butler's Grove is a small town in Texas where something really bad has happened, a double murder/suicide that happened in the Butler House. Nothing nothing really good has happened, unless you count the baseball player who made it all the way to the Minor League. Because of this history, Butler's Grove was ripe for something huge to happen. So it did.

Jake McAlister, exminister, was hundreds of miles away in New Orleans, working in the B&B named Rising Sun. He just wanted to be left alone. However, forces beyond his control had other plans.

Can Jake survive the evil forces at the Rising Sun? Will he regain his faith and become the warrior of God to save his hometown, a town he vowed never to return?
