A terrible catastrophe has befallen the Earth, leaving most of it uninhabitable. Scattered about here and there are small pockets of survivors, who are trying everything they can do to cling to a normal life, one of them being Sam Bailey. His job at the insurance company he and his brother started years before is the only thing he has left, and so he goes to the office every day in the hopes of helping those who are still around. But with time running out, will he come to terms with his past before it's too late?
