Before the Weight
We all carry something.
Some of us can name it easily—a loss that won't let go, a dream
that hasn't yet arrived, a hurt that refuses to heal. Others can't quite
define it, but they feel it all the same: a heaviness in the chest, a
slow exhaustion in the bones, a shadow that follows just out of
sight. Whatever form it takes, the weight shapes the way we walk
through the world.
