Some storms trap you. Others follow you inside.

Olivia Waterson arrives at a secluded Colorado mountain home, determined to finish her next novel before her deadline—and before the storm rolling in cuts her off completely. The snow is a surprise. The silence is welcome. But the sense that something is off? That's new.

Then there's Griffin, a neighbor with a knowing smile and a habit of turning up uninvited. He says he wants to help. But how does he know so much about her—and why does he put her on edge?

As the storm intensifies, so do the questions. Is someone out there? Is someone in here? Or is Olivia, alone in the mountains, beginning to lose her grip on reality?

Until the Storm Passes is a chilling psychological thriller about isolation, obsession, and the fine line between truth and insanity.

I had a great time with Until the Storm Passes. From the first chapter, the story pulls you in with this quiet, eerie vibe that makes you want to keep reading “just to see what happens next.” The mountain setting is super atmospheric, and it’s easy to feel Olivia’s nerves right along with her.

Olivia is a really relatable character, and her reactions all feel real. Griffin gave me the chills in that perfect thriller-book way, and Rusty the dog honestly became one of my favorite parts of the story.

The pacing is smooth, the writing is easy to sink into, and the tension builds in a way that keeps you turning pages without feeling stressed. It’s just a really enjoyable thriller overall—creepy, entertaining, and hard to put down.

If you like atmospheric mysteries with a little edge to them, this one’s definitely worth the read.
