Reading and walking is a thing that David does. People tell him to stop doing it. They tell him he might get himself in trouble. He tells him that it's fine. That he is fine. Then David gets hits by a car. A short memoir about the love of book and walking. It is a story of the consequences of such a folly. It is a love song to the dog who walks by his side while he does such an anti-social activity such as reading.
