Tony Isabella

Tony Isabella is a comic book writer and editor, known for his work at both Marvel Comics and DC Comics. In addition to creating the iconic '70s hero Black Lightning, he also worked on several cult-classic series like Ghost Rider and Heroes For Hire.

Michael Fleisher

Michael Fleisher was a comics writer whose work for DC included The Spectre and Jonah Hex, as well as a series of Comic Book Encyclopedias that spotlighted Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman and numerous mystery stories. He also wrote stories starring Conan the Barbarian for Marvel Comics.

Frank Miller

Frank Miller began his career in comics in the late 1970s and rose to fame while first drawing, and then writing, Daredevil for Marvel Comics. He was also the creative force behind Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: Year One and Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again. His many works have not only redefined classic characters, but also, on a few occasions, revitalized the comics industry. His multi-award-winning graphic novel 300 was brought to full-blooded life in the 2007 motion picture of the same name, and in 2008 he directed the feature film Will Eisner's The Spirit. His creator-owned crime saga Sin City first hit the page in 1991, and then the silver screen in 2005, with Miller on board as co-director with Robert Rodriguez. The two returned to direct the sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, released in 2014 and featuring two new stories by Miller. In 2015 Miller returned to his bestselling series with the highly anticipated Batman: The Dark Knight: Master Race.

Bill Flanagan

Bill Flanagan is an American author, television producer and radio host. He wrote the novels A&R, New Bedlam, and Evening’s Empire, the nonfiction books Written in My Soul and U2 at the End of the World, and the humor collection Last of the Moe Haircuts.

Flanagan hosts the Sirius XM radio shows Northern Songs and Flanagan’s Wake and contributes essays to CBS Sunday Morning. He created and produced the TV series Storytellers and Crossroads and has worked on series and specials for NBC, ABC, HBO, MTV, Nickelodeon, PBS, the Sundance Channel, and Showtime. Flanagan has written for Spy Magazine, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Esquire, GQ, Air Mail, Men’s Journal, and The New York Times. He wrote the 2020 film Jimmy Carter: Rock and Roll President.
