Antony Theodore has written thousands of wonderful poems on spirituality and love. This book contains two hundred of his select poems on the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Antony's poems make several references to the Vedas, Upanishad, Gita, Qu'ran and other scriptures also. The poems in this book are arranged in seven parts including Miracle of Birth, Word of God, Mystery of Love, Voyage of Life, Temptation of Flesh, Final Cross and The After Life. Many of the poems dwell on the intimacy of human love as expressed through sexual attraction between man and woman. For the poet marriage is the sacred union of two souls on the path of God realisation. The covenant of marriage is a promise before God for lifelong devotion, and its breach is a terrible sin signaling the Fall of Man. Supreme God has split Himself into Man and Woman for cosmic play of creation. By seeing one's mirror image in one another, a couple in love can retrace their path back to the divine origin. Romantic attraction prepares the human heart for ultimate God communion.

By showing the possibility of highest God realisation through ordinary human love, these poems provide a penetrative new interpretation of the universal truths underlying Christ's sermons. It shows that the truth contained in the Holy Gospel is essentially the same truth as expounded in the scriptures of all world religions. The One Truth expressed differently through Veda, Bible, Gita and Quran has been tellingly re-enlivened through these simple but powerful spiritual nuggets.

The book has been edited by the Indian poet and translator Dr Tapan Kumar Pradhan, who has also written its foreword and introduction. The book makes a startling revelation that Antony Theodore is a reincarnation of the mystic poet scholar Hemangi Sharma from Kashmir. Dr Tapan has hinted at his past life relationship with Hemangi Sharma / Antony Theodore.
