Body confidence does not come from trying to achieve the perfect body, it comes from embracing the one you ve already got .

Lying on the bathroom floor, tears streaming down her face and the dark passenger inside her head is in her element. You are so fat and disgusting. Your body is gross; people are going to talk behind your back. Once you were attractive and now you are nothing more than a sack of fat, cellulite and stretch marks. Taryn doesn t don t have an eating disorder, she simply hates her body, and decided that there was only one road to take to get my body, I would get cosmetic surgery. I bounced into the surgeon s office and proclaimed, My body is ruined, can you please put my boobs back where they belong and cut off this hotdog (my tummy)?

But how was she going to teach her daughter to love her body if her Mummy couldn t do the same? It was at this moment I decided to not go ahead with the surgery. Her greatest challenge came next and that was how to love her body without surgery.

Learning to love her body from the inside out has made her unstoppable, and now she wants to share her story so she can harness and facilitate positive body image activism and create global change. It s time for women to hang up the body hating, start loving their bodies, and unleash their inner desires. It s time for a movement; it s time for a Body Image Movement.
