Ruth Doyle

Ruth Doyle always planned to be a writer, but trained as a nurse and studied social care first in order to gain a better understanding of people of all ages and walks of life. She lives on a mini farm in Kent with her family and an assortment of animals.

Ashling Lindsay

Ashling Lindsay is an illustrator from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Her first book, The Night Box (Egmont), written by Louise Greig published in June 2017, was nominated for the CILIP Kate Greenaway Illustration award, shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and shortlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize for illustration.
