Rodrigo Tannus

Rodrigo Tannus has been a professional illustrator since 2018, living in the city of São Fidelis, in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro/Brazil.

Like the vast majority of artists, he started drawing as a child. He has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism where he learned art techniques and refinements, later moving on to digital painting. He began illustrating for home video companies, creating covers and posters for DVD and Blu-Ray releases. Some of his best-known films include Parasite (2019), Midsommar (2019), They Live (1988), Silver Bullet (1985), Django (1966), and OldBoy (2003).

In the Brazilian market, he has worked on projects in partnership with Banco do Brasil, SESC, and BLG Entretenimento, showing films by Stephen King, Tim Burton, and Disney/Pixar. He has a visual style where he prioritizes detailed art that dialogues with horror, suspense, and science fiction films and books.
